What am I Buying?
Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. We recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.
