Chinese Artichoke 'Conito' is an exotic root vegetable, rare to the UK. However it is very easy to grow, and once harvested very easy to prepare and eat! They have a crunchy texture and a fresh nutty flavour. Can be used similarly to water chestnuts, added fresh to salads, or sauteed and added to Chinese inspired dishes. A great winter perennial vegetable to try in your garden!

1L refers to the volume of the pot, the roots are almost double the size of a 9cm pot. The size of the plant can vary greatly, most will be between 20-50cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.
