'Poncho' is a high yielding perennial with a refreshing, tart flavour and deep red stems. This taste sensation is perfect for baking in crumbles, pies and cakes. Likewise it lends a wonderful flavour in jams and compotes. Low maintenance to grow, you can harvest the stems from mid spring until mid summer.

Please note herbaceous plants naturally die-back during the colder months. We always ensure plants have at least some growth during this time, however when buying during October through to March, the growth may be minimal and there may be blemishes from winter cold.

Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started.

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
