Bellis 'Tasso Red'

Value Plug Plant x 10

Bellis Tasso Red is a specific cultivar of Bellis perennis, commonly known as the common daisy or English daisy. This particular cultivar is known for its vibrant red flowers, which make it a popular choice among gardeners and flower enthusiasts.
'Tasso Red' typically features a compact growth habit, forming low clumps of dark green leaves. The flowers are daisy-like with a yellow centre (disc florets) surrounded by deep red or burgundy ray florets. The contrast between the yellow centre and the red petals creates an eye-catching display.
It is often used in flower beds, borders, or containers, where its bright red flowers can add a splash of colour to the landscape. It is a hardy plant that can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions, including full sun to partial shade and various soil types.
Regular deadheading (removing spent flowers) can help prolong the blooming period and keep the plant looking neat.

What am I Buying?

Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started.

Reduced Plastics

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.

Caring for Plug Plants

We recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.
