Apple 'Gala'

Malus Domestica

9cm Plants x 2 (More info)

Apple 'Gala'

9cm Plant x 2

'Gala' is a popular, medium-late season apple variety. The fruit skins are a vibrant red. The cream coloured flesh is juicy with a rich, mildly tangy flavour perfect for eating, cooking, and making sauces or salads. Ideal for eating raw or cooked in dessert dishes or sauces. They produce appealing pink and white flowers in mid spring which attract beneficial insects like bees and butterflies.

Please note that deciduous plants naturally lose their leaves during the colder months. If you wish to check the health of your plant, you can scrape a small piece of bark off from the lower part of the main stem. Under the brown layers there should be healthy green growth.

What am I Buying?

Please remember that you're not buying 9cm tall plants. 9cm refers to the diameter of the pot commonly used in plant retail.
The size of the plant can vary greatly.
Most will be between 10-30cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.

Reduced Plastics

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
