Value Plug Plants x 5 (More info)

Celery 'Victoria F1'

Value Plug Plant x 5

Celery 'Victoria' is a vigorous, quick growing, self blanching variety with good standing ability. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it has been noted as a great performer in difficult Spring conditions and is slower to bolt making it ideal for mid-season production. The tall, thick, mid-green stems are said to be one of the best flavoured celery, with a deep nutty flavour.

What am I Buying?

Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started. Caring for Plug Plants

We recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.

Reduced Plastics

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
