This climber is semi-evergreen, so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new foliage appears again in spring. Will need winter protection. In summer, spectacular white flowers appear, each ringed with purple. Later, the edible yellow or purple-black fruits start developing, growing to around 5cm in length, and often going wrinkly before they are ready to pick.

WHAT AM I BUYING?

2L refers to the volume of the pot, the roots are almost 4 times the size of a 9cm pot. The size of the plant can vary greatly, most will be between 30-60cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.
