Muscari 'Botroides Alba'

Muscari botryoides

9cm Plants x 2 (More info)

Muscari 'Botroides Alba'

9cm Plant x 2

'Botroides Alba' Muscari is similar in growth habit to the more common blue Grape Hyacinth (Muscari armeniacum). It produces small clusters of flowers on short, stout stems. What sets it apart is its colour; the flowers are typically white or pale cream, resembling tiny pearls or white grapes. The foliage is typically grass-like and green. These plants are relatively small, with flower spikes that reach heights of about 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 centimetres), and are often used in garden borders, rock gardens, and naturalized areas. They also work well in mixed bulb plantings or in containers. When mass-planted, they create a lovely carpet of white or pale blooms.

What am I Buying?

Please remember that you're not buying 9cm tall plants. 9cm refers to the diameter of the pot commonly used in plant retail.
The size of the plant can vary greatly.
Most will be between 10-30cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.

Bulbs are a form of dormant plant which when planted in the correct conditions produce a full plant over time. Plants which naturally survive as bulbs will usually die down into the ground when their season is finished in order to store their energy to return the following year.
