Leycesteria 'Little Lanterns'

Leycesteria Formosa

2L Plant (More info)

Leycesteria ‘Little Lanterns’

2L Plant

'Little Lanterns’ is a colourful and long-flowering addition to the garden, this handsome shrub will soon form a dense thicket of upright stems. Bright lime-green to deep golden foliage which emerge in spring, throughout the summer, pendant spikes of white, trumpet-shaped flowers appear, tucked in amongst showy maroon bracts. As the flowers die off, deep purple-black ornamental berries start to form which are sought after by birds.

Please note that deciduous plants naturally lose their leaves during the colder months. If you wish to check the health of your plant, you can scrape a small piece of bark off from the lower part of the main stem. Under the brown layers there should be healthy green growth.

What am I Buying?
