'Frozen Planet' iris plants produce small, delicate flowers with distinct coloration. The petals are typically ice-white, with a splash of crystal blue on the edges. The flowers are intricate and feature three outer petals (falls) and three inner petals (standards), forming a classic iris shape. Being a dwarf Iris, 'Frozen Planet' is a petite plant, with flower stems typically reaching heights of 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 centimeters). This makes it well-suited for rock gardens, borders, and container plantings. Its early bloom time makes it a valuable addition to the garden for adding color and interest during the transition from winter to spring.

Please remember that you're not buying 9cm tall plants. 9cm refers to the diameter of the pot commonly used in plant retail.
The size of the plant can vary greatly.
Most will be between 10-30cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.

Bulbs are a form of dormant plant which when planted in the correct conditions produce a full plant over time. Plants which naturally survive as bulbs will usually die down into the ground when their season is finished in order to store their energy to return the following year.

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
