Crocus olivieri subsp. balansae

9cm Plants x 2 (More info)

Crocus 'Orange Monarch'

9cm Plant x 2

'Orange Monarch' crocus is known for its vibrant and eye-catching orange flowers. They have six petals and typically consist of three outer petals (tepals) and three inner petals. These flowers are heavily suffused with a rich purple-black feathering on the petals. Crocus are relatively small plants. The flowers are typically just a few inches tall and are often used in rock gardens, border plantings, and naturalized areas. They work well as early spring accents and can be planted in clusters or drifts for a more pronounced display.

What am I Buying?

Please remember that you're not buying 9cm tall plants. 9cm refers to the diameter of the pot commonly used in plant retail.
The size of the plant can vary greatly.
Most will be between 10-30cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.

Bulbs are a form of dormant plant which when planted in the correct conditions produce a full plant over time. Plants which naturally survive as bulbs will usually die down into the ground when their season is finished in order to store their energy to return the following year.

Reduced Plastics

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
