Details
Add a touch of architectural elegance and vibrant colour to the damper, shadier spots of your garden with Candelabra Primroses (Primula). Characterised by their stunning, tall stems bearing distinct, multi-layered whorls of delicate blooms, these robust perennials provide a spectacular, tiered display in late spring and early summer. Ideal for illuminating woodland borders, bog gardens, or the damp edges of a pond, they offer an enchanting, naturalistic feel while attracting early pollinators to your outdoor space.
Bedwen Plants Care Tip: Candelabra Primulas are true moisture lovers and will rapidly suffer if their roots are allowed to dry out, making them the perfect solution for heavy, wet soils where many other plants might struggle. To encourage self-seeding and create a beautiful, naturalised woodland drift over the years, simply leave the spent flower stems intact so they can scatter their seed in late summer.

Plant Care
What are you buying?
4L, 2L & 1L refer to pot volume in litres. 9cm, 7cm & 5cm refer to pot diameter. These are common terms used in plant retail to indicate the size of a plant root system. Leaf & stem growth on plants varies widely by variety and time of year. Usually, 1L/2L/4L plants can be anywhere between 20-60cm tall & 5/7/9cm plants will be around 10-30cm tall. However, this may be less if the plant is naturally low growing or if it is a herbaceous plant in winter.
Plug plants are small plants grown from seeds or cuttings in cell trays. Their root systems start from about 1cm and the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are usually around 4cm. Plug plants can be great value to buy but they will need some extra care to get them started. We recommend planting each plug plant into its own 7 or 9cm pot (about the size of a standard mug), NOT directly into open ground or large pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.
