Verbascum 'Honey Dijon' is a striking perennial known for its tall spikes of soft honey-yellow blooms the graceful spikes are smothered in clusters of peach and gold flowers featuring a plum-purple eye, it is a short-lived perennial that adds vibrant colour to sunny borders and small gardens. Blooming from late spring to late summer when properly deadheaded, its elegant flower stalks rise from a low-growing rosette of dark green leaves. This compact, semi-evergreen plant thrives as a vertical accent at the front of borders, and is hardy and bee-friendly.
Please note herbaceous plants naturally die-back during the colder months. We always ensure plants have at least some growth during this time, however when buying during October through to March, the growth may be minimal and there may be blemishes from winter cold.

Plant Care
Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started.
Caring for Plug PlantsWe recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.
Reduced PlasticsIn order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
