‘Tasty Lemon’ is an exotic herb, essential for use in Asian cuisine, particularly in traditional Thai dishes. It bears an intense lemony flavour and scent on its long grassy foliage. Closely related to citronella, it is also a natural pest deterrent! Please be aware that this Lemongrass is the 'Citratus' variety and grown from vegetative propagation, and is considered by many to be superior to seed-grown varieties.

Plant Care
What are you buying?

Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started.

Caring for Plug Plants

We recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.

Reduced Plastics

In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
