English Lavender 'Grosso' produces large, highly aromatic, violet purple flowers on grey-green foliage, perfect for cut flowers due to their long stems. The blooms are a magnet for pollinators and keep their fragrance when dried; ideal for infusing with oils or teas!
Culinary note: English lavender has many culinary uses in sweet and savoury dishes as well as in drinks. They can be added to a stock to accompany many meat dishes such as lamb, duck or pork. Lavender sugar is popular and can be used for making biscuits, jams, jellies, sorbets or ice cream. They can be used to make refreshing summer cocktails or in hot teas.
