Details
Borage 'Blue' is a large, branched annual with coarsely hairy, ovate leaves and branched cymes of starry, edible bright blue flowers 2cm across over a long period in summer. Mild cucumber tasting blue blooms and leaves, ideal for salads, garnish and gin! The blue, star-shaped flowers can be used to add a subtle cucumber-like flavor and a vibrant blue hue to gin. It's also used in color-changing gins, where the addition of tonic water or other mixers causes the gin to shift from blue to purple or pink due to the pH of the mixer.

Plant Care
Please remember that you're not buying 9cm tall plants. 9cm refers to the diameter of the pot commonly used in plant retail.
The size of the plant can vary greatly.
Most will be between 10-30cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.
In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
