Butternut Squash 'Hunter'

Butternut Squash 'Hunter' is an RHS Award of Garden Merit winning variety. Bred for the UK climate, this squash ripens early with high yields of up to 7 fruits per plant. The fruits are about 1kg each with tan skin and sweet orange flesh. A small seed cavity means there is more for you to cook; lovely roasted or for a creamy soup!

1L refers to the volume of the pot, the roots are almost double the size of a 9cm pot. The size of the plant can vary greatly, most will be between 20-50cm tall unless they are naturally low growing plants or if you are buying herbaceous plants in winter.

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.
