Bellis 'Habanera Mixed'

Bellis Perennis

Bedding Plants x 6 (More info)

Bellis - Habanera Mixed

Bedding Plant x 6

'Habanera Mixed' is a variety of English Daisy that features a bright blend of large flowers in reds & whites. The flowers are semi-double, meaning they have more than one row of petals, and they bloom in early to mid-spring.
It is a perennial plant that is typically grown as an annual or biennial in most gardens. It grows to be about 6 to 8 inches tall and wide, and it prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
It is a relatively easy plant to grow and maintain, and it is often used in borders, rock gardens, and containers. Like other Bellis perennis varieties, it is also attractive to bees and butterflies.
To encourage continued blooming, it is recommended to deadhead the spent flowers regularly. This will help to promote the growth of new flowers and prevent the plant from going to seed too quickly.

What am I Buying?

Plug plants are small, young plants grown in cell trays. Even the largest plug plants, described as extra-large or jumbo, are still small plants from cell trays and not established plants. Plug plants can be great value compared to buying more established plants however they may need some extra care to get them started.
Reduced Plastics

Please note: In order to lessen our environmental impact, all of our plants will be removed from their plastic cell trays or pots before sending. Ensure you are ready to pot your plants when they arrive.

Caring for Plug Plants

We recommend starting plug plants in a small pot and not planting directly into open ground or large pots/planters. You will want a plant pot roughly the size of a tea mug, commonly referred to as 7cm or 9cm pots. Ensure the pot has plenty of holes underneath and preferably over two tiers for even better drainage.
